Dirty Thirty 2014: Another Amazing Day on the Trails
Every time I run the incredible trails at the Golden Gate Dirty Thirty, held at beautiful Golden Gate Canyon State Park, I marvel at the vistas, the incredible scenery, the feeling of isolation one can achieve there (despite being so near to Golden and Boulder.)
This year I ran the shorter distance (12 miles) having not gotten in the appropriate training to do the challenging 50k course this year. Still, it was a gorgeous day on the trails and I encourage anyone who has never done this race to give it a try. It's challenging, certainly, but well worth it.
Glen Delman was out on the trails today and snapped this photo as I ran by. Who needs Photoshop or filtering software when the actual scenery is this amazing?!
Happy running, friends, and see you on the trails!
